This MSc degree is accredited by The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and The Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.

This module aims to provide a fundamental understanding of physical modelling applied to vehicles mechatronic systems; To introduce students to modelling techniques, from basic methodology to graphical modelling and practical viewpoints; To illustrate the role of first principle and data-driven modeling.
