Halls of residence places are not currently offered to postgraduate students; however, the university has an excellent relationship with private sector and partnership accommodation in the local area. For students coming to live from outside of the area, the university’s Accommodation team provides support to help find the right accommodation, including a register of local private landlords, local lodgings for shorter term accommodation options, house-hunting workshops, and advice.
The town centre is a 15-minute walk or 2-minute shuttle bus journey from the campus. Average private rental fees for accommodation in Ormskirk are between £70 and £130 per week. PGCE students can place themselves on the university’s PGCE sharing list, which enables them to contact other PGCE students who are looking for a place to live.
Visit the Edge Hill website for additional information on accommodation in the private sector and to get in touch with the Accommodation team.
