The degree options at GIS are delivered either completely online as part of a truly global cohort, on-campus in a stadium environment at GIS Brussels, or in a distance with attendance format that combines online learning with one-week residentials in the sports capitals of London, Miami and Melbourne, taking in the iconic Wembley Stadium, Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium and Melbourne Cricket Ground respectively. This provides the ultimate flexibility for students to further their career ambitions from anywhere in the world and in a timeframe to suit their lifestyle.
Students can also choose to study any of our distance programmes whilst training and playing football full-time in Dubai at GIS Dubai Academy in partnership with The Player.

All degrees are available either full-time or part-time and start in September each year. The popular MSc International Sport Management also has an additional January intake.
GIS modes of study explained:
Distance – completely online
Distance with attendance – largely online plus two one-week residentials on-campus in London, Miami or Melbourne
On-campus at GIS Brussels – delivered at Lotto Park, home of RSC Anderlecht
Study & Play: Dubai – online degrees with additional on-site support alongside training and playing football with The Player
As a result of the industry-led degree and employment opportunities, 99% of GIS graduates are in employment with 79% working in sport and 97% in highly skilled roles, based on the 2023 Graduate Census. GIS degrees also rank in the top 25 sports programmes by SportsBusiness Postgraduate Rankings, and number 1 in the world in employment prospects in 2022 and number 1 in the world in employment salaries in 2023.
All GIS students, including those studying online, and alumni have access to the GIS global hubs at London’s Wembley Stadium, Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium, New York’s Red Bull Arena, Toronto FC’s BMO Field and the Melbourne Cricket Ground. At each hub, students and alumni can attend week-long GIS Global Summits, which are designed to enhance attendees’ knowledge and expertise of the international sports industry as well as build a global network for future employment prospects.
