The university prides itself on its industry-led courses, offering links with employers. There are over 9,000 students at the university, with around 1,500 studying for a postgraduate qualification.
The main campus in Wrexham is located on the edge of town and contains the majority of student services, facilities and accommodation. There is an additional rural campus in Northop a short distance away that specialises in Animal Studies and Biodiversity as well as a cutting edge research centre in St Asaph that focuses on Opto Electronics Technology.
