The University of Chester has supportive and approachable staff, which makes learning feel personal and engaging. The university is situated in a calm, student-friendly environment with easy access to cafés, shops, and transport links. However, the university could improve by providing clearer and more specific information about the admission process, particularly regarding payment procedures. read full review

For me, the best part of my student experience so far has been the incredible support I've received from the university community. As an international student, I was a bit nervous about navigating a new environment, but the warmth and kindness I've encountered from both staff and fellow students has made all the difference. From helpful advisors to friendly classmates, I've felt welcomed and supported every step of the way. It's truly made my university journey an unforgettable experience.
The worst part is being away from home and family read full review
The best aspect of my university experience at Chester was the supportive and student-centred learning environment. The lecturers were approachable, understanding, and genuinely invested in student success. One thing that really stood out to me was the flexibility around assessments, having a seven-day submission window made managing deadlines much less stressful and showed how much the university prioritises student wellbeing. The smaller class sizes also allowed for meaningful discussions and personalised feedback, which really enhanced my learning experience.
Honestly, I found very few negative aspects during my time at Chester. If anything, the main challenge was simply adjusting to postgraduate study and managing expectations at the start of the programme, but the support provided by staff made that transition much smoother. Overall, Chester is a great place to study because of its supportive culture, academic flexibility, and focus on creating a positive learning experience for students. read full review
