The Digital Innovation pathway will equip you with the knowledge, skills and tools to lead, manage, develop, and implement innovation digital business solutions.

Commercial focus

Our students learn to develop a strategic approach and apply appropriate theories and models to create new business value, by exploring how digital technology innovations and leadership can be harnessed to strategically organise and lead people and technology in a digital environment.

Accreditation Information

Students who pass the module – Business Domain and Requirements Analysis with a mark of 60 or above will be eligible for the British Computer Society Professional Certificate in Business Analysis Practice.

Modules

This module aims to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a substantial research project, drawing on the knowledge and skills acquired from past experience and from the taught part of the MSc programme. It enables students to learn how to conduct a research project, develop problem-solving and critical-analytical skills, and manage research activities. There are opportunities to carry out the project with external organisations.

Entry requirements

Students need to have a 2.1 degree, or equivalent, from an internationally recognised university; not necessarily in a related discipline. Although a good first or second class UK honours degree, or overseas equivalent, will usually be required, professional experience will be taken into account and applicants considered on their overall suitability for the programme. Evidence of entrepreneurial experience will be of particular value in our admissions decision.
