HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY
Overall Rating

The best aspects are the course I am taking, I am in love with the area I have chosen to go into and it has made each day a good one learning something new and learning skills I will hopefully use throughout my career, And it has opened up my career plan and i have been contacted by many potentially employers and have had a lot of replies quickly and i believe that this is due to how well this university is and the status that is carries.

I think the area that it is in is beautiful, I visited Edinburgh a few years back and fell in love with it, then by luck it turned out that it was also one of the best in the country at the course that i wanted to do which made it a very big positive, every Saturday i go on a walk to see the sunrise which so far i have been up Arthurs seat, Portobello beach and the forth bridge have been my favourites so far.

The worst aspects of my university experience thus far are the socialising aspects I tried getting on the football team but as i am postgraduate they only took on a select few and then the other societies didn't seem to want a beginner in there field, so the most socialising i do is in class which still is minimal.

Overall, i will always see my time at university as a positive one as i have learnt many valuable skills and life values about myself and others and made me appreciate time and the people around you that matter and those who don't. I believe that the university experience shapes you into the man or woman that you become and shows you the potential that each student has and gives you endless opportunities.
