Kingston University was named as one of the ‘top 150 young universities in the world’ by the Times Higher Education publication. Postgraduate students will benefit from Graduate Centres, located at each of the four campuses across the city.

The latest Research Excellence Framework 2014 (REF) rated over half of the universities research submissions as world leading and academically excellent. Modern facilities across the campuses include MAC computers, art studios, specialist psychology labs and flight simulators for engineering students. Health and social care students will be able to work on site over at St Georges Hospital in London.
Kingston overlooks the River Thames, boasting riverside cafes, bars and restaurants. A large shopping centre, cinemas, theatres and clubs are all within close reach of each other, while London is less than half an hour away on the train.
A number of the teaching staff at Kingston have been awarded National Teaching Fellowships. Alumni of the university include fashion commentator Caryn Franklin MBE, Glenda Bailey OBE, Editor in Chief at Harpers' Bazaar and the movie star Ben Barnes.
