Leeds Beckett University

my overall experience in leeds beckett has been good. i am very happy with the level of education and i hope that whatever i learn can be applied in my job. leeds is also a very nice and safe place. the city is very different from the modern and fast life.

i am not quite knowledgeable of the work of the students union. it is new to me and i have not heard much about them.

i am not fully aware of the clubs and societies. i have seen a few at the freshers fare and i think they are very interesting and have a lot to offer.

I live in a private accommodation with my family but i think the student accommodation is a good way of meeting people from different courses. If it was not for my family with me here, I would opt for the student accommodation. in contrast, i think student accommodation is very expensive in comparison to the private accommodation.

the university facilities in general are really good. there are so many facilities that i have not used as yet but i'm sure they are beneficial for students of different courses. the buildings are nice. the library is big and easily usable. the business school is small but has the best of facilities.

The best thing about my course is the support provided by the lecturers. It is very interesting to have practicals to support theory in the MBA.

The city is beautiful and filled with greenary. i dislike the uphill and downhill walk around the city because it is not something i am used to in Bangladesh. but there is lots to experience and a lot of new things with a lot of benefits for students.

the job prospects after completion of my degree is not so good in uk. i was told at an education fare about the fares conducted. i really hope the university provides atleast internship for students who perform well in the mba if not for all the students.

the support i have received from the first day of university has been overwhelming. as a student, you are not sure of what to do and where to go. the university is so helpful and the sign boards make it much easier to understand. the administrator provides us with all the help we need and is very helpful. in the first week, everything is provided to us through workshops and we also receive a hard copy for future reference.
