Leeds Beckett University

Very Good Overall. I have made so many friends here. It is nice to be a part of a multi cultural university.. i would advise students abroad to study in leeds beckett as it is a new way of learning and the facilities are great.

To be honest ... I don't really see the effective parts of the SU. Basically, I don't hear from them except at the time of elections! I don't know why, but it seems to me that they lack the proper communication with the students.

The clubs and societies are really good, and they have great activities. But they lake proper representation. in other words, they need to be presented more on campus with their activities, because many students don't even know how to get to or join these societies.

the university's accommodation is a bit too expensive compared to the private, but in general, I found accommodation in UK not good value compared to what you actually gets.

The facilities are great. Actually the best facilities I have ever been too till now ... would prefer if they could make a better transport options between the two campuses.

The best about my course, is the practical way of teaching, and the focus on the management aspect in the software industry.

Leeds is a great city for students in general. It is full of indoor/outdoor activities, and it has too many societies to chose from. My favourite thing to do in Leeds is meeting new and old friends through the different activities we have in the university.

Job opportunities are high to my field of study in my case for the gulf region ... but the employability in UK is very tough in general, and found that if the university can offer some internship programs for the graduate students would be great.

In general I found the university very supportive to the students. I came through number of issues, and found the staff offering help to me in many cases, even without asking
