Leeds College of Music (LCoM) is set in the Cultural Quarter of the UK’s fourth biggest city. It’s a popular choice with students thanks to the four other universities nearby. There’s never a dull moment in this thriving northern powerhouse which boasts a strong music scene: there’s over 200 venues to experience.
As the UK’s largest conservatoire (college for the study of music or performing arts), LCoM offers a broad range of music degrees which focus on providing students with the skills they need to meet the changing demands of the music industry, from classical music and songwriting to music business and music production.
The college has strong links to the music industry. Past alumni have gone on to produce for Rhianna and tour with Kylie. 97% of students are in full-time work or study within 6 months of graduating, with 80% working in the creative industries (DLHE 2017).
