Members of this department have significant international research publications in areas such as Shakespeare, Renaissance Literature, Victorian literature, travel writing, war poetry and prose, and American literature. English Language tutors are members of linguistics organisations including the British Association for Applied Linguistics and the International Society of World Englishes.
