MSc Human Rights and Politics

LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
Overall Rating

My experience at the LSE has been great. I have thoroughly enjoyed by course and the teaching. Whilst this year has been difficult for most, lecturers and tutors went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience and quality of teaching. It has been a shame to not have been able to spend more time on campus due to covid. However, the school’s response to the pandemic has been efficient with tests provided from day one of the academic year.

Uni Facilities

Buildings were accessible with a large number of study spaces.

Course and Lecturers

My course was hybrid at the start of the academic year with in person seminars and online lectures. It switched to all online as of January. I had approximately 6 teaching hours a week. Contact with tutors was really good and frequent, my academic advisor in particular held regular meetings with us to check how we were doing.

Job Prospects

Second term was very much focused on careers with weekly online events that offered the opportunity to talk to employers from sectors of interest.

Student Support

I found personal support at the LSE to be outstanding. I used the services and was called months later by the student union to make sure I was doing well and talk about my experience. They were very attentive. Counseling services are fast and efficient.
