I'm surprised with the job offers that MMU have advertised. This actually shows that MMU is well known by the working industry.Something i am really proud of.

The new Students' Union just opened up last month, pretty cool and much better access compared to the previous one. A place to chill out and relax after a hard day at school or even during break, it is pretty awesome i must say. But everything runs on electricity, once the power is down. There's really nothing much to do in the Students' Union.

Not much of club and societies person. so no comment.

Victoria Halls at Higher Cambridge Street is a bad accommodation. I would only recommend it to student if you want to stay really near to Uni and would prefer your own bathroom. But the amount paid for the room, doesn't reflect on the condition and make of the room. It doesn't reflect on the services provide, and management control is a little lack in the area. Pretty disappointing. Was expecting a better accommodation than this when they state that they are the best accommodation of 2013 and 2014.

The one thing that is on the down side is the printing services. Maybe i'm used to having a print shop in my previous school where they offers various type of printing. I have to hunt high and low for a print shop to do different kind of printing in MMU. Other than that, normal printing is available everywhere and 3D printing is on the cheap and other facilities like sewing machine, or any machine needed by a fashion student is easily found.

The Course are pretty much in-depth of what i wanted to learn back in college. Some lecturers are helpful and are not afraid to pass on their knowledge to the students. Of course, some lecturers are pain in the ass, but you will get used to the way they work and ease your way through.

If you like the night life, this is the city for you. If you prefer the quiet, relaxing night like me, this isn't the place for you. A city filled with Uni students and tons of night clubs can only meant one thing - noise pollution in the night. Not to forget, the police and ambulance driving around with their high pitch siren.But i like that it is walking distance to almost everywhere, curry mile, town, chinatown and even ASDA Hulme.
