I have loved every minute of it. And I'm constantly coming back to Met Film School, either to work on a project or to help the tutors. I've kept in touch with my friends as well, who are often active around the school. I'm really produ to be a graduate here.
Really good, enough to get started in the industry.
What I love most is the filmmaking environment. Everyone who works at Met and teaches at school are very passionate. The tutors are hard on you but also extremelly supportive. I wish we had had more opportunities to meet industry professionals and apply for work placements in bigger productions. But the advices and opportunities the school gives you makes you confident to explore further and on your own.
Ealing Broadway is far from the main events, museums and art activities but it's also a good thing. It's a good ballance between the hectic and the calm, so you focus when you have to but you travel if you are really interested in attending these events.
Met Film School has given me a lot of different opportunities ever since I started studying here 3 years ago. I did a short course first and then the MA and it helped me get started in the industry, specifically in the art department, which is what I specialise in. I met tutors who referred me to work opportunities and made friends with whom I've been working with for years. The MA itself made me more confident to out there and look for jobs on my own.
I have used more the academic support so I can't say much about the personal. The academic support has alwasys been great, they have alwasy solved my issures and tutors have alwasy replied to my queries.
