Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) is one of the great British art schools: a specialist arts, design and media university that draws on more than 170 years of history but with a focus on the future.

The University holds a high reputation for its courses, and has been recognised for its high-quality teaching, having been awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework. It was also ranked at number 10 in the UK for teaching quality (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018).
The postgraduate courses are practice-led and students are encouraged to develop their creative ideas and ambition. One of the defining characteristics of the master’s programme is working with creatives from other disciplines – mirroring what postgraduates find in the workplace
The University has impressive facilities for students to take advantage of. These include a photography studio, Macs equipped with industry standard software, a 3D workshop, a film studio and a fashion workshop, all designed for students to unleash their creativity and feel inspired as they work.
The University has many talented creatives in their alumni, many of which have gone on to do great things. These include Turner Prize nominee Glenn Brown, Bafta winners, GFW winners, D&AD Pencils, Monty Python writer Neil Innes and Batman comic artist Brian Bolland.
Norwich University of the Arts (NUA),founded in 1845,was voted the best specialist arts, design and media university in the UK ( NSS 2014) for the second year running. It offers postgraduate degrees in Communication Design, Curation, Fashion, Fine Art, Games, Moving Image and Sound, Photography and Textile Design.
