Course Summary

This course is a highly flexible, work-based programme that enables you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge required for senior leadership and management roles. This degree has been developed for entrepreneurs and working professionals who want to forge their own path in the modern business world.

A large component of the programme is based on self-development through work-based projects for an employer, organisation or your own business. If you are not in employment, Pearson Business School will partner you with an organisation to work alongside and complete your studies.

This programme is a great opportunity to gain invaluable professional and academic experience, complete the UK’s only Masters in Business Management delivered by a FTSE 100, and continuously add value to your employer or organisation in just one year. Students will also achieve PG Cert and PG Dip awards.

This module is a precursor to the rest of the programme and seeks to prepare you for the research and work-based project elements of the course. In particular it examines the process and techniques that will be required to carry out a research-based project for an organisation in the follow on module. The main focus of the module will be around project management and advanced research techniques in preparation for bespoke organisational projects. There is no workplace project in this module.
