The University of Hertfordshire offers prospective students a place on its postgraduate programmes if they meet the specific entry requirements for their chosen course. These eligibility criteria typically relate to a student’s academic qualifications, as well as professional experience or assessment via portfolio or interview, in some cases.
For example, applicants to the MSc in Occupational Psychology will need a 2:2 level degree or higher, though a 2:1 or better standard of work is typically expected. Students should be qualified in a relevant subject, such as psychology or cognitive science. Applicants with two or more years of experience in lieu of these qualifications are also considered.
Students applying for the MA in Art Therapy will need to show achievement of an undergraduate honours degree in a subject such as education, the humanities or a visual arts discipline.

The University of Hertfordshire Graduate Scholarship, offering a 20% discount to tuition fees for students on a taught or research postgraduate course who have already graduated from a degree at the university
Sport Scholarship Scheme, which provide a range of financial support for students who demonstrate a talent in sports or athletics. Funding ranges in purpose, and can cover expenses for everything from gym memberships to competition expenses, workshops and team wear.
The Dannenberg Scholarship, which is awarded to students pursuing an MEng qualification through the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science and is worth up to £1,000.
