Course Summary
MA Education in Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership is designed to support individuals across a wide range of sectors who hold coaching, mentoring and/or leadership roles and responsibilities. It attracts an interdisciplinary class from sectors such as education, military, health, public services and business.
The course ethos is informed, first and foremost, by a renowned student-centred approach focusing on developing and enhancing professionals’ practice and specific subject expertise through a critical and reflective action research methodology.
MA Education in Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership enables practitioners to hone their coaching and mentoring skills and to carry out small scale research within these fields to enhance practice within their organisations. It provides an excellent opportunity for practitioners to continue with their own professional development which often leads to career progression and/or promotion.
What might you become?
Our professional alumni community go on to progress their careers as leaders in a wide variety of educational settings and within military environments, e.g. as trainers, mentors, senior leaders, advisers and expert leaders in their specialist field/s and settings.

Applicants must have previously studied the PG Cert in Coaching and Mentoring and have successfully achieved 60 Masters’ credits at Level 7.
