Bursary recipients will be selected on: academic merit or relevant professional experience, based on the information supplied in your application, and the ability to demonstrate the following as part of the application process: academic and professional ambition; and a genuine need for the scholarship to support these ambitions, relating to educational disadvantage or under-representation. This bursary will be awarded as a one-year tuition fees deduction of £9,2002 plus a living stipend for one year of £16,000; it cannot be paid as cash. The tuition fees element will be automatically deducted from your first-year tuition fees upon enrollment. If you choose to pay your tuition fees in installments, the award will be deducted from the total annual tuition fee and the remaining balance split accordingly. The stipend will be paid in monthly installments directly to the student’s UK bank account. This award is for one year only and is not recurrent for subsequent years of study.
