Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of Universities in the UK. It has over 21,000 students, which comprises of around 5,000 postgraduate students.

The university’s history goes back to the nineteenth century, when it was originally four different colleges which have merged over the years. It is divided into three faculties:

  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Science and Engineering
  • Medicine and Dentistry

Each of these faculties is divided into a number of different schools.

The university was awarded a Silver in the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework.
