Queen's University Belfast

The University is great place with great people doing a lot of little little things that go a long way to impact on peoples lives positively.My experience on my arrival on 29th September is one that will leave a lasting impression in mind I remember sailing across the Irish sea from Glassgow got to Belfast at about 4:40pm couldn't make prior arrangement for accommodation before coming to Belfast having heard of the challenges foreign students faced in getting accommodation in United kingdom in 2022,I was already thinking of how this will impact negatively on my program thinking of paying so much for hotel or Abnb,I was just wondering what to do and where to go when the thought came to me to first go to my school,which is school of chemistry and chemical engineering as i didn't just know what to do at that moment,When I got there and introduced myself,the reception the people I met there they gave me was so estatic and warmth I ,felt so at home and they went as far as asking me if I had a place to stay and response was negative and that got them to making several phone calls and racking of head eventual the connected me to the director of student's union of the university whom made great efforts to ensure i got a place to come alive in Belfast,with out those angels that I crossed paths with I can't for sure say what my life in Belfast would have been,for there actions help me gain stability and hopefully my stay in Belfast will be worthwhile.

The halls are great and lovely everything is top notch except for the allocation which probably might be as a result of the demand pressure last year.The hall have a lot of fun activities to keep residents happy and going and it's support and response to challenges residents face is very encouraging and prompt.
