QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY BELFAST
Overall Rating

Queen's University Belfast is located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is a beautiful, scenic location with unique conditions for study and research projects.
One of my favourite places to visit is the school's library, The McClay Library, which is located behind the main school building and next to the Botanic Garden. I usually like to study in the window seat on the first floor, whenever I think or take a break, I can look up and see the lush trees outside the window, which is very pleasant. It is worth mentioning that in the library there are a lot of documents and books from different countries that can be borrowed, and my favourite area is the Spanish literature section on the first floor, where I could find a lot of poems about Borges!
I think QUB is perfect in every way, both in terms of the services provided and the public facilities. The only downside is that there is a shortage of student accommodation, with only three halls of residence, but this is solved by the school's cooperation with the off-campus StudentRoost flats, some of which are slightly more expensive than others. I would suggest that the school could communicate with the partner in this regard to give a more appropriate offer.

Accommodation

I lived in a school dormitory during the summer holidays, which is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the main school building and surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. The layout of the dormitory building is like a small community, which makes it easy for students to communicate with each other. It is worth mentioning that there is also a venue, Green House, where there is a cafe that serves free tea and coffee, as well as a pool table, ping pong table and karaoke, providing a good place to socialise. The price of the hostel is also very good, and there is also a special person who cleans the kitchen every week, which I think is a very good service!
The only drawback is that the hostel is located far away from the city centre, about 35 minutes on foot, but this contributes to a quieter, more natural environment.
