Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at Sheffield Hallam University

SHU is an amazing place to study with many new, open plan and modern study spots. I love to use the library where you can book out rooms. The tutors are overall amazing, helpful and understanding.

Plenty of books and quiet areas, library also open for long periods of time. Lovely members of staff, university is clean and plenty of places to get food.

Support should be massively improved, I’m waiting for a diagnosis for autism which means I struggle to understand certain information, the support I need isn’t available at Sheffield Hallam when you do not have a diagnosis, which has meant I have really struggled academically. I would advise people to only study at Sheffield Hallam if they feel as though they won’t really need much support. We speak about equity in lectures and yet I feel on my behalf the equity is not there at this university unfortunately. read full review
The institution is very lovely with state of the art equipment and learning tools. However, more support can still be provided for students. read full review

It can do better in sporting activities by creating more of them and making them accessible to the students. read full review
