This course will give you the skills and knowledge to progress in your career and explore innovative cross-disciplinary research and practice to improve public health. Throughout your studies, you will refine critical research and analytical skills in relation to healthcare policy and practice and develop professional reflective practice techniques. Based in our College of Human and Health Sciences, you will benefit from a diverse teaching and research environment, with many opportunities to make connections across disciplines.

During the course you will be assessed through coursework including written assignments such as research projects and essays and seminar presentations. You will also produce a dissertation of approximately 20,000 words. Entry requirements

Students will need: a minimum of a second class honours UK (2.2) degree or above; an equivalent recognised qualification; relevant experience may also be considered where appropriate. They must be a registered practitioner working in a community role.
