Postgraduate

In general, the minimum entry requirement for taught courses at Swansea is a lower second-class honours degree (2:2), or equivalent. Students can take a look at the individual course pages for specific programme requirements.
Research
Entry requirements vary depending on the research programme and these can be found on the individual course pages. Research students will normally be required to do some training in research methods before embarking on their programme of research.
Research students will also have an academic supervisor who will advise and support the direction of their research for the duration of the degree, and a co-supervisor who will provide additional support as required.
Since all courses at Swansea are delivered in English, there is a minimum English language proficiency requirement to study there. All international students for whom English is not their first language will need to demonstrate this proficiency before the start of their postgraduate degree course through recognised test scores.

Swansea’s Students' Union exists to help students enjoy every aspect of university life. Swansea offers a variety of taught postgraduate degrees in a wide range of subject areas, which typically take a year to finish. If studied full time, students will study modules for nine months before spending three months on their final dissertation or project work.
Courses cover a wide range of subject areas, and are delivered via eight colleges and two campuses, each offering specialised facilities and superb interdisciplinary curriculums.
Research
