My experience was so much better than my expectation and I can honestly say I’m so glad I ended up at Swansea. Some of my nightlights have been Varsity and the Summer Ball which are the best events the uni puts on. Being right by the beach is another incredible perk and takes away from the stress of studying. Swansea is one of the best unis for the ultimate student experience as well as gaining an incredible degree.
Student Union

They actually care about students and work well with the uni to deliver their promises. Student events and activities are diverse and fun.
Clubs and Societies

So many societies to choose from and there is something for everyone! Swansea is honestly amazing for sports and societies.
Accommodation

Cheap housing in Swansea and the area is mostly safe apart from the normal sort of crimes in cities. The size of houses is brilliant and you will get a good sized room.
Uni Facilities

24/7 library with plenty of space, brilliant gym facilitates and loads of catering outlets. Singleton campus does need modernising.
Course and Lecturers

City Life

Wind Street is the hotspot of Swansea with an array of bars, clubs and restaurants. Swansea has 24/7 buses and cheap taxis so it’s so easy to get around. It has great pubs and clubs.
Job Prospects

College will email you constantly about opportunities and events which is amazing. The career advisor wasn’t great though.
Student Support

Your academic mentor is brilliant for academic help and can point you in the right direction for help. The Well-being service is also incredible and offer counselling.
