THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH
Overall Rating

I could never imagine studying anywhere else but at the University of Edinburgh. It offers a combination of an amazing city, great education and lovely people.

Student Union

I have only used the ones in the main campus - George Square - Pleasance, Potterrow and Teviot. Different kinds of events are organinsed daily in all three of them.

Clubs and Societies

With more than 240 societies and clubs to choose from, there isn't any room for complaining.

Accommodation

I stayed in Pollock halls during my first year. The atmosphere is great. The RAs are friendly and welcoming and really try to make your first year a great experience.

Uni Facilities

The university has two campuses - George square and King's Buildings. Both contain a library and Student union buildings.

Course and Lecturers

The course is incredibly interesting. The lecturers are all well-known figures in the field of anthropology.

City Life

Edinburgh is an amazing city with lots of opportunities and things to do for all kinds of people. No matter if you prefer going to pubs, clubs or enjoying arts and culture - you can find a bit of everything in Edinburgh

Job Prospects

The University of Edinburgh is one of the best universities in the world so having a degree from it is highly valued by employers.

Student Support

The Advice Place offers supports to students for a range of possible problems - accommodation, health, academic issues, etc. Moreover, each student is assigned a personal tutor, whom they can go to for advice on any enquiries they might have.
