Legal Practice Course LPC

THE UNIVERSITY OF LAW
Overall Rating

Absolutely appalling. I have had to complain on a number of occasions, on one occasion they shared a spreadsheet containing student numbers and the fact students had failed to the whole of the university which was incredibly embarrassing and a breach of information sharing policies.

The course is completely a waste of money.

Uni Facilities

Facilities are fine, they have a library and a number of computers to use. The catering facilities are closed on a weekend which is not acceptable when they hold weekend courses and they lack in providing vegan choices.

Course and Lecturers

I really struggle with highlighting any positives as the university as a whole has been completely disappointing. I would certainly not recommend anyone attending. Staff are unhelpful (other than tutors), the in house system is not use friendly at all, the course timetable is hectic and the electives are not accessible easily as you often have to drop one of your electives to study another due to not having staff, classes too full or clashing timetables.

City Life

Yes, very good location for Leeds, central and near good transport links.

Job Prospects

I am unable to take part in this kind of activity a it is all for full time students on a week day- I am a weekend student and no effort is put into providing this type of assistance for weekend students.

Student Support

Unhelpful-tutor offers help but simply forwards to others who are unhelpful.
