International Sport Management MSc

UCFB

Gianfranco Neno Rosa Chimisso - June 2018

A very poor communication about Madrid details and flights generated uncertainty and late planning.
The option of several guest speakers coming from different industries were the high point. read full review

International Sport Management MSc

UCFB

Max Chernogor - March 2018

Mature student Max Chernogor began studying MSc International Sport Management at UCFB Wembley in September 2017.I chose to study International Sport Management to gain expertise in order to work in the sport industry. I'm very sporty and the course seemed to offer me an opportunity to pursue this.
Studying International Sport Management has helped me to develop lots of skills for my future career. One of them developed an understanding of how important decisions are made by key stakeholders and how clubs are run on daily basis. The course was very focused on the management of international sport, which has left me confident to start working in sport management positions. I believe that the environment studying within Wembley Stadium is one of many highlights of UCFB, along with being able to network with many industry professionals.
I was positively surprised by how international our course was. There were students from many different countries. It was very good to hear experiences from the sport industries in other countries. Moreover I have fully immersed myself in life at UCFB and was elected as Student Representative for MSc International Sport Management master students in my first semester. My aim in this role to maximise the enjoyment and enhance the experience of all Msc Sport Management students by speaking out on behalf of all Msc Sport Management students and building relationships with key establishments throughout the capital.
I really liked that the UCFB invests a lot in the School of Sport. Professors are committed and we frequently had professionals of the sport industry coming in and giving lectures. I found that it was a great opportunity for me to develop contacts in the industry. read full review

I enjoy a good amount of the course content. Assignments are interesting and you have a high degree of choice in what you can write about. There are elements of the course which isn't so good, but the fact I have gained a dream internship with The FA through UCFB means I am happy with my choice of Masters' course. read full review

Paul Maas - February 2018

Very pleased in terms of the class size, modules, support provided, facilities, employability opportunities. Generally communication and organisation could be improved slightly and perhaps teaching in certain modules. read full review

Stressful, baffling and disappointing. The university was marketed very well but is very deceptive with the opportunities and facilities. As an individual who was looking to seize opportunities and pursue a career in sport management - this university did not deliver at all. The experience itself is borderline comical. read full review

Underwhelming and regretful really. The students there however are great and I got to see Wembley stadium, but educationally and mentally the experience has been very poor. read full review

If I could go back to the summer I would not apply to come him here. Awful course, poor teaching and loads of money wasted. Do not be fooled by the pitch, it looks nice for a week and then you realise you’ve been conned as everything else taints the experience. read full review
