MAs and MSc courses generally follow the structure of core modules and elective modules which are supported by a final project or dissertation. They are led by the university’s expert staff and include seminars and, for some courses, lectures. Some of these courses can be tailored to suit a student’s particular learning style.

A postgraduate diploma is similar to a master’s degree, but usually does not include a final project or dissertation. A postgraduate certificate is another option that usually takes less time to complete.

DMU has a history of providing distance learning qualifications within a range of programmes to choose from. The university’s diverse community consists of students located in over 85 countries, and it is continuing to develop more programmes.

Distance Learning is a flexible way to study for a qualification. It allows students to fit their learning in around their lifestyle and other commitments while achieving the same qualifications as they would by doing traditional campus-based study. Students can study at their own pace and in a place that’s convenient for them. They’ll have access to an extensive range of online learning materials and benefit from academic support.
