Prospective students will need to meet the entry requirements for their chosen course before they can successfully enrol at Leeds Beckett University. Admissions criteria vary between courses and level of study, and may relate to professional experience or application performance in addition to academic credentials.
For example, students applying to the MSc in Information and Technology will need an undergraduate honours degree at 2:2 level in computing. Equivalent qualifications in other subjects, as well as those with professional experience in lieu of a degree, will be considered if applicants can adequately demonstrate their aptitude.
Applicants to the MSc in Corporate Governance will need to demonstrate achievement of an undergraduate honours degree with a second-class grade or above, or equivalent professional experience and training. Completion of an interview and provision of references is also needed.
Students applying to the MA in Landscape Architecture will need to have an undergraduate honours degree at 2:2 level or higher. This can be in any subject but students will need to demonstrate their aptitude for the course. Equivalent professional ability via experience or training is also accepted for consideration.

The Leeds Beckett Alumni discount, offering students a 10% discount on their postgraduate tuition fees for students who have already graduate from a degree programme at the university. Other conditions may also apply.
The Northpoint Scholarships, which provide scholarships of £4,750 to students from a Black, Asian or other minority ethnic background who are enrolling on the MA in Integrative Counselling. It is paid as a discount to tuition fees.
Social work bursaries, which provides students on social work courses with a bursary, paid as a contribution towards tuition fees and a grant to help cover living costs.
