Leeds Beckett’s story begins in 1824 with the establishment of the Leeds Mechanics Institute. It has continued to grow for almost 200 years, having become a university in 1992 and adopting its present name in 2014. Students at Leeds Beckett will be able to study across two expansive campus sites in the city of Leeds.
