UCL provides around 7,000 beds across 26 halls which vary in size and facilities. There is a range of accommodation options for graduate students at UCL, including postgraduate halls of residences, family accommodation for married students or those in a civil partnership, and catered accommodation.
Most residences include:

Bicycle racks
Fee amounts depend on the chosen accommodation. Students need to budget for living costs, which can range from £131 per week for a single room, to £249 per week for a 1-bedroom flat.

Facilities
A whole host of facilities are on offer at UCL to support students during their time at the university, whether academically, culturally, socially or practically.
There are 15 specialist libraries with more than two million books, 12,000 journal subscriptions, archives, rare materials, significant manuscripts and many other resources. The university also holds globally important museum collections, artworks, objects, specimens and images.
UCL is more than halfway through its 10-year, £1.25 billion investment in creating sustainable spaces and best-in-class facilities. The award-winning Bloomsbury campus is powered by 100% renewable electricity and produces no landfill waste. By 2024, all buildings will be net-zero and free from single use plastics, with 10,000m2 of additional biodiverse green space. By 2030, the institution will be net-zero carbon.
The Student Centre houses more than 1,000 individual, group and open plan study spaces, with easy access to help and support at the dedicated Student Enquiries Centre.
UCL East has been designed with sustainability at its core—turning rubble into skateboard ramps, rainwater harvesting, low energy lighting and highly efficient mechanical ventilation.
