Accommodation

The University of Leicester guarantees university-managed accommodation for all students who apply for a room before 1 September each year. 

Postgraduate students are allocated housing in The City; a community of purpose-built accommodation blocks located within a convenient ten minute walk of campus, the city centre and train station. Most of the rooms are en-suite, and all are self-catered. The area is well serviced by local public transport networks, and all students have access to 24-hour support, student residential advisors and a packed social calendar.

Facilities

Flexible and digitally oriented, with 24/7 opening hours during term time and hundreds of individual and group study spaces, the David Wilson Library is a fantastic facility used by students from every kind of degree course and for all types of work.

The state-of-the-art library contains millions of books, journals and a huge archive of digital resources, with a fully-equipped suite of computers and fast WiFi throughout the building. There is a technical support team on-site, as well as a Digital Reading Room, and a cafe serving coffee and refreshments, with a social space for students to meet and take time out.
