Postgraduate students can choose to live on campus in university halls or find private rental accommodation in the surrounding area.
Eddie Colman and John Lester Courts are located close to MediaCityUK and are ideally positioned for students studying nursing, healthcare and media. Facilities include free and fast Wi-Fi, on-site parking, a lively social lounge, outdoor BBQ area, half basketball court and free on-site gym.

Facilities
There are a number of library facilities located around the three campuses. The main library on Peel Park campus is open 24 hours per day, 364 days per year, and offers thousands of journals and textbooks, computers, printing devices and allocated areas for group work and silent study. Students also have online access to e-journals and e-books, available through the university portal.
Academic and research facilities across the University of Salford include state-of-the-art TV and radio studios; a journalism centre; the Energy House (a full-scale building in an environmental chamber); an integrated laboratory for environment and life sciences research; a human performance laboratory; a podiatry clinic; an anechoic chamber; and much more.
Non-academic facilities include the Students’ Union bar, Atmosphere, which hosts regular social events. There’s also a well-equipped sports centre with a 25-metre swimming pool, spa, sauna and air-conditioned gyms.
