Facilities, teaching staff, safety environment and care is really good. But employability and placement opportunities need to be considered. The courses are worth to learn in this college to find suitable employment outside.
College facilities are really good. Chrome books, Learning Resource centre, travelling facilities, safeguarding and support etc. everything is fantastic.
I like the most is my tutor who is very supportive and helpful to do my course. She organises and deliver the course interactively. She explains how to teach mathematics by using various resources which is helpful in a classroom atmosphere. Even when we miss a session, everything is available on the google classroom.Least is about the assignment.
It is hard to find work placements at right time. As a trainee teacher, most of the tutors are not accepting the trainees. They are also not giving a chance to observe their classroom to learn their skills to handle student's behaviour or teaching methods.Since training period is one/two year and if the student wish to learn or develop their skills as much as they can by attending the sessions, there were less opportunity offered to them and eventually they are losing their confident in their profession.Finding a suitable placement is really worse at this moment.
Students support is really good. Feedback is given on right time and the learners progression are recorded. Considering individual needs or feelings and prompting them in right direction.
