Our Masters in Civil Engineering is aimed at engineers who want to broaden and deepen their technical knowledge of specialised civil engineering areas and develop a wider perspective on the issues facing the civil engineering industry. Modules

The aim of this module is to place the student within a simulated, realistic construction orientated work environment, as part of a multi-disciplinary consultancy team. In order to successfully address the open ended nature of this module, a critical evaluation of current problems and developments in civil engineering is needed together with the application of teamwork, communication and management skills to creatively address key issues.

Entry requirements

You should hold at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree (2.1) in Civil Engineering. Applicants with a Lower Second Class Honours degree (2.2) in Civil Engineering will be considered on a case by case basis and evidence of significant relevant learning/work experience following graduation will be expected. Applicants with other qualifications equivalent to the above that are deemed acceptable to the University will be considered.
