Staff are nice and helpful , very polite and pleasant , however communication between students and tutors need to improve. read full review
The lecturers are lovely and very hard-working. The uni has overcharged us all £1,750 per year with promises of extra learning (such as Makaton training) to “enhance our CV” with no evidence of carrying this out. Graduates we have conversed with have paid this money an seen nothing for it. read full review
Best aspects of my experience at the University of Central Lancashire include the diverse range of courses offered, supportive faculty, and a vibrant campus life. The city's cultural diversity adds to the overall enriching environment. To enhance the experience, improvements in campus facilities and increased collaboration between different departments could be beneficial. One challenging aspect has been the occasional inconsistency in communication and administrative processes, which can lead to confusion and delays in resolving issues. Improved clarity and efficiency in these areas would enhance the overall university experience. read full review
My course started during lock down, I found the experience very disappointing and no value for the money I have spent. Our group to begin with made complaints on the money being spent and the experience we had. It wasn't through fault of the tutors, but it was very poor. I needed a lot of help with student support and I found it hard. I had a problem with more than one staff member whilst I studied there that didn't perform duties well to support the student or handled situations poorly. I found it hard and exhausting to get the help and support I needed even when providing evidence of my situation which was private I often was told I had to provide more time and time again which wasn't helpful. The positives would be the library and i.t services as that was all I used and recently I went in now I'm finishing and saw the student centre which looks very nice and welcoming and I had some help from the careers team to prepare for after graduation. Overall I think more help for student mental and physical wellbeing is needed , the facilities are done well though. read full review
