UNIVERSITY OF CHESTER
Overall Rating

I think the overall experience in my uni is more than my expectation, I am very satisfied with what it offers and helps me in my study and life aboard in the UK.

Student Union

Student union is amazing too, it can represent our voices and make us feel like in a big and sweet family.

Clubs and Societies

We have more than 120 societies in our student union, so it's absolutely make sure we can find one we would love to join.

Accommodation

I am living in a single room, it's great for me to stay with its spacious spaces and whole day access to WiFi. It's very safe and has many good housing options.

Uni Facilities

The facilities are really cool. We have 24/7 library, a lot modern sports facilities and spaces.

Course and Lecturers

My course is online learning under this pandemic and we contact our tutor online via Microsoft Teams or Skype.

City Life

The local life that University of Chester offers is amazing. We have many fantastic places (the cathedral, bars, cinema, etc. ) to visit in the city centre, I am sure that you will find a very colourful life here. The transport links are so convenient too, it's very close to Manchester and Liverpool (about 30-40mins by train).

Job Prospects

We have Career and Employability department in our uni, we also have its own website to find any information you may want in your career path, such as the guidebook to write a excellent CV and cover letter, part-time or full-time job information. We also have many service activities, for example, mock interviews, assessment centre, career development advice seminars. I found it is extremely helpful for us and make me plan my future job in a better and effective way.

Student Support

I feel like the personal support offered by the uni is so helpful. We have wellbeing centre where you can get any support or talk or counselling you want. We also have many academic support departments too, such as study skills, EAP team where you can get study advice and academic support. All the services in the uni are easy to access and the mentors are very friendly and enthusiastic.
