Overall Rating

I have enjoyed being at the university of derby, however I feel there is still a lot of room for improvement. The Students union is awful, it is closed more often than it is open and is extremely expensive. The shops and food outlets within kedleston road campus are likewise too expensive for the quality of the products. In addition to this I do not feel that I have received enough support from the university when I have had issues with my housing or well being. However my lecturers and course have been fantastic, I have a great relationship with lecturers and feel that they have given me the opportunities to be successful within my degree. In a few years both derby university and Derby city will be a fantastic place to be....however it still needs a bit of work
