The University of Derby is an innovative, modern educational provider that has been a university since 1992. The results of RAE 2008 demonstrated that at least 50% of its submitted research unites were claimed to be of international class. It has a total of 2,744 students taking up its taught postgraduate programs and 150 students in its postgraduate research programs.
