Learn about the multiple and complex challenges facing the energy industry, such as decarbonisation, wide scale digitisation, and decentralisation. In oil and gas corporations, government agencies, and professional services firms, individuals are tasked with articulating the vision of the organisation, sector, or industry. You will learn to assess complex issues requiring close collaboration across similar fields in the social sciences.
You will learn to analyse, synthesise, and articulate concepts and practices relevant to the energy industry. You will understand the fundamental drivers of various energy markets, such as oil, gas, and electric power. You'll acquire foundational and contextual knowledge and skills in management, through classroom and work-based learning, and coaching from specialist academics or senior industry professionals. CEPMLP has been a global voice of energy law and policy since 1977. We are now working towards the transition to low-carbon economies worldwide. With over 6,000 postgraduate alumni from more than 50 countries, we prepare our graduates for high–profile careers in the public and private sectors.

An honours degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Geology, Petroleum, or Mining Engineering at lower second class or above. Consideration will also be given to applicants with other academic backgrounds who explain clearly their motivation for undertaking the relevant LLM, outlining any relevant legal work experience.
