There are a number of support services offered to students during their time at UEA. These are designed to ensure that no personal matters compromise the paid-for time a student has at the university, and make sure they are properly looked after whilst on campus.
The services range from help with financial matters or careers advice, to those tailored to the physical and mental wellbeing of students, including advice on emotional and mental health, counselling services and more.
Postgraduate students will also be able to access tailored advice to their chosen studies, along with accommodation support for the duration of their time with UEA.
University of East Anglia students on Postgraduate Search say:
“Personal tutors are incredible from my experience they have been very helpful for my undergrad and postgrad. From my experience of councillors the service helped me by offering me one to one counselling sessions and I booked onto group sessions which were very good and a free service.”
“Many facilities are advertised on campus and it is easy to access them while feeling safe.”
“I found them accessible and they offered additional schemes to support people specifically with lockdown.”
