The campus itself really is wonderful, you really get to be surrounded by nature. Actual buildings have very mixed funding - the business school definitely gets the majority funding and is therefore very modern whereas buildings catering to the humanities suffer a bit. The overall feel of the university is really nice though. Staff are mostly really lovely and helpful, passionate about their fields and willing to support you but that isn't always the case - but this is probably the same across every university. I feel like most things about the university are very standard and average across the board, the thing that makes Exeter stand out is certainly the general community feel of the campus.

I lived in 2020. It was the absolute trenches. The only perk was that because it was during the height of lockdown, we were in town and therefore able to just go to sainsburys 10000 times a day just to leave the house, which people on campus couldn't do. No one in my block had head of JOC before we were assigned it, none of us applied and I doubt we would have even if we had known about it. Great value for money though because it's got all the basic stuff for way cheaper than the other accoms. Great for character development.

They renovated it the year after I moved out tho so it might be amazing now lol
