UNIVERSITY OF EXETER
Overall Rating

I enjoy living and studying in Exeter. It's a place which allows typical student living to thrive whilst simultaneously allowing the student to escape the campus for a well deserved break and enjoy the idyllic city.

Student Union

I haven't really been overly aware of our Student' Union. There are facilities available if indeed I need to contact someone, but on the whole I'm not sure where they are based.

Clubs and Societies

There are so many societies available to join, it's tempting to join all of them. The ones I'm apart of, and even the ones I'm not, all have good reputations with excellent social event for meeting new people.

Accommodation

A really central location, not a long walk to the center of campus, town and lectures etc. Considering the building is relatively old there have been a few issues with plumbing, gas and general wear and tear. Though nothing excessive.

Uni Facilities

On the whole I only regularly use the Drama department and the Library. However, the Forum, cinema and on site theatre are great for shopping and socializing within a really modern setting.

Course and Lecturers

The subject is very enjoyable, however, because it is such a diverse topic it can seem as though we are rushing through modules.

City Life

The town center is really pretty, of what I've seen. The high street is useful for shopping and there are some great places to eat and drink. On the whole it appears to be a city with great side streets, and alleys, excellent for exploring.

Job Prospects

Not a topic I've been concerned with during the beginning phases of University. Though the University if always emailing students to advertise job fairs and talks etc, and the drama department has highlighted the benefits of such a degree in relation to the job market.

Student Support

I haven't needed student support so far at University, however, if I did I think the options available seem helpful. The staff are usually very friendly and I'd have no issue contacting them.

Having said what you have said would you recommend your uni?

Yes
