UNIVERSITY OF EXETER
Overall Rating

It's been okay. If I had known about how expensive and inaccessible this uni was, I probably wouldn't have gone, despite its higher ranking. There is an obvious distinction between race and class which is strange since the uni boasts about its diversity.

Student Union

I don't see any impact they have made. Price of food is expensive. Not much integration between majorities and minorities and accommodation is expensive.

Clubs and Societies

I have joined enactus Exeter, fashion society, the tab and Malaysian society.

Accommodation

At the moment, I am a student life mentor. This allos me to live in student accommodation at a discounted rate. Increasing prices in the next academic year should be stopped. It's clearly a rip off.

Uni Facilities

We need more microwaves, and free tea and more study space and plugs.

Course and Lecturers

I get to decide what I want to focus on. In the end, my degree is catered around my interests. Skills I learnt in my work placement.

City Life

I rarely go out. It's difficult to get around because of the hills.

Job Prospects

Opportunities for international student to work in the UK are incredibly slim and the uni has done nothing to help them identify employers willing to hir us. This is unfair because many don't have good programmes for them at home.

Student Support

Having said what you have said would you recommend your uni?
