Facilities, campus and academic staff are all exceptional. As a mature Masters student, my experience at Exeter has been fantastic. The course has been intellectually demanding, but hugely rewarding.

The campus is ideally located close to Exeter St David's train station and a short walk from the city centre. read full review
Exeter University has impressed me with its exceptional faculty and engaging lectures. The professors exhibit a passion for their subjects, offering valuable insights and guidance. The teaching facilities are top-notch, with modern classrooms and resources that enhance the overall educational experience. However, a minor drawback is the limited quiet study spaces in the library.
Despite this, Exeter's commitment to academic excellence shines through, making it a commendable institution. I highly recommend it to prospective students. read full review
Great campus, and a lot of support from the University and Students' Guild to pursue ideas for improvement. Exeter itself is a bit quiet. read full review

UNIVERSITY OF EXETER

Manal - February 2024

There are perfect academic results, research results, faculty expertise, resource availability, socially significant activities of graduates, and international activities for this university. read full review
The quality of academic delivery is generally very high. Very engaged and enthusiastic academic staff. What lets it down is the disjointed approach to recording skills and behaviors - a core part of the apprenticeship. As a time poor executive, I seem to spend a lot of time on process issues relating how to submit evidence of skill acquisition.

My programme does not have a staff/student liaison committee despite this being a requirement of the University's regulations. I have raised this with the School and they've confirmed that they don't plan to have one - seems a very blatant disregard for institutional policy. read full review
The study spaces are far too busy and there is never anywhere to sit. But the food and drink services are great and the student union hold some fun activities. read full review

One of the ways that the university can enhance the learning experience of the masters students is by offering them a compulsory module of working with the professionals for a month. This would involve inviting the theatre professionals to evaluate the students and select the ones who match their criteria for a one-month placement. The university would also facilitate the students to perform with the external theatre company/ modeling/ film company of their choice. This would enable the students to gain confidence to network with new theatre companies or to pursue a career with the same company that gave them the opportunity. Their CV as an artist would also become more impressive and they would feel more inspired to excel in their profession.
