Philosophy MLitt

UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW
Overall Rating

Generally good, I am a carer and the financial support is very good. Good disability team who are very supportive and try there hardest to keep you in univeristy

Student Union

My perception is that it is for younger students

Accommodation

Build quality is very poor, noise insulation is a real joke. leak on stairwell has been a constant problem. Heating system has constant problems. Expensive for what you get.

Uni Facilities

Poor ICT facilities in library, difficult to find a seat at busy times. Need your own laptop.

Course and Lecturers

Lectures are often very dry, lack of innovation in teaching and learning. Mlitt course seems to give basic knowledge in latter stages of the course rather than at the beginning

City Life

West end of Glasgow where the university is located is vibrant and welcoming. lots of independent shops and bars

Job Prospects

Internship hub and opportunities are regulary advertised

Student Support

Generally good, but can take over 3 weeks to get work back.
