Overall Rating

My experience has been super, as I feel so much attached to Uni and it made me love the city of Glasgow actually.
Teachers and students are welcoming and you always have something to do.

Student Union

UofG has 4 students Unions
2 social unions, Glasgow University Union and Queen Mary Union, they have a lot of activities and great facilities.
1 sport Union, GUSA, with huge possibilities.
1 Student Representatives Council, which hold a lot of power in Uni as they offer a lot of support for students.

Clubs and Societies

more than 50 sport clubs with a big sport centre in the main camps and another bigger one just 20 minutes away.
Social clubs are more than 200. You can find a society for everything.

Uni Facilities

very high quality with safety regulations.
You are always walking in a museum.
The buildings are old from the outside but very well-equipped from the inside.

Course and Lecturers

I like the level of engagement that we get in the courses.
the discussions are highly engaging and though provoking.

City Life

The location of the main Campus is great as it close to the main roads that have most of the shops, subway stations and bus stops.

Job Prospects

UofG has dedicated department for student support to consult regarding future career plans, startup ideas, business ideas.
They also offer great resources to develop transferable skills that are required in the work place.
career fairs are held regularly with so many opportunities as internships and graduate programmes.

Student Support

we get detailed instructions on how to get better academically.
personal counselling is always available and always advertised to help students in need, especially international students and those suffering from stress.
