Glasgow

UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW
Overall Rating

Well coming from Trinity College Dublin, on Erasmus here for the year, I can compare the two and say what I like better here, the clubs and societies here are very good, much better than the ones I experienced at home, and most of them are free to join, where as the ones in Trinity are generally a fiver each. I suppose Trinity is better in the way that all courses seem to be on the main campus so you run into people constantly where as here I am in University gardens or Boyyd Orr a lot and segregated from other courses. The fact that there are multiple student bodies is very good, and they are all a lot wealthier than Trinity's union it seems as they all have buildings and are able to organise huge events as a result. Basically social life is better and worse here :P
